This heart of mine

This heart of mine that yearns for you,

It wants to thump,

And reach out to you.

The Days pass, the hours fade,

Yet there is something so pure about you.

The Mystery, the allure,

And here I am,

still not too sure.

This heart of mine that yearns for you,

Knows that it's just too soon.

Maybe I'll let time,

with parted ways,

like the months and days,

let this fade too.
