A reality we must all face...

Like most of you, I was disappointed that the corrupt and disgusting leadership of LLDM was not going to get exposed in a trial and knew the church would come up with a ridiculous sounding excuse that would only sound logical to the very gullible and brain washed once the guilty please was confirmed. What I've realized however, is that we're dealing with people who are convinced they are part of something so special that it transcends logic. Not just casual members but devoted followers who do not dare fathom the idea that their entire life was a lie and that they hold no more value to the laws of the universe, their God, or society than anyone else. People like my aunts and uncles who would be completely lost without their life in that church because its all they know. People who were in dark paths and believed they are now "God's Chosen". Trial or no trial, video footage, pictures, text, and whatever other evidence was going to get shown in trial, it would not have mattered to them. They would believe the evidence was fake, tampered with etc and die on that hill. Though they may in the very depth of their minds and heart have a tick of doubt, they will brush it away because the idea of their beliefs not being a reality is too frightening to face.

What will come of this guilty plea however, is the attention and confirmation for those members who became more open minded and started having their doubts the last 3 years. It will grab the attention of younger members who have recently been preached to or are contemplating becoming members which leads to research. It will decrease growth even more as this will be the most popular headline that comes up when anybody googles/searches the light of the world, or Naason Joaquin. This has left a giant stain on the LLDM church that will never go away, especially in Mexico and ultimately I do think that this generation is the last before the numbers decrease more and more. In the end, we have to take responsibility for our beliefs and knowledge and those who want to continue living their life with tunnel vision and not an open mind, will continue to do so. I can no longer feel sorry or bad for any of the people I love that are still brain washed who will continue to believe we're the ones who have been deceived. I want to thank everyone who took time to research and post on this sub as well as everyone who shared their story or engaged in conversation.
