Core Champion Guide: Tyril, the Firbolg Druid

When you start playing Idle Champions, you are automatically provided with a dozen Champions. These Core Champions are from a variety of Forgotten Realms stories, whether in books, games, or on streams.
This series of guides is aimed at helping brand new players understand how each of these Core Champions works and what they can expect from them in terms of upgrades as they progress in the game.

Bio: Tyril grew up in the wilds around his home village as the apprentice to the spiritual leader. After an accident regarding his large stature, Tyril fled the village to become a sword for hire. His regret informs his transformations and he prefers to shape-shift into small mammals and rodents.

Shielding Bite (Wild Shape) - Tyril bites the nearest enemies and gains a massive damage shield that decays over time.

Base Ultimate Cooldown Time: 240 seconds
Gaar's Note: Tyril's Shielding Bite while in Wild Shape is one of the best self-shields in the game and gives him more survivability than almost any other tank in the game...while the shield is up. The more enemies he bites, the bigger the shield.
Health Upgrades: 1.19e05 but only when in Wild Shape

As one of the Core 12 Champions, you'll primarily find their Gear in regular Silver and Gold Chests, as well as Electrum Chests. Their Gear also appears in certain Weekend Deal Chests and Patron Chests, if they qualify for that Patron.

Gaar's Note: As noted earlier, the more enemies he bites, the bigger his shield. So let a large group of enemies stack up on him to get as big a shield as possible.
