Core Champion Guide: Arkhan, the Dragonborn Paladin

When you start playing Idle Champions, you are automatically provided with a dozen Champions. These Core Champions are from a variety of Forgotten Realms stories, whether in books, games, or on streams.
This series of guides is aimed at helping brand new players understand how each of these Core Champions works and what they can expect from them in terms of upgrades as they progress in the game.

Bio: Arkhan the Cruel is a dragonborn oathbreaker paladin in the service of the five-headed dragon goddess Tiamat. Due to 'The Wreath of the Prism' that he wears around his neck, he has gained control of the vicious manticore Chango.

Basic Attack: Tiamat's Fury - Arkhan attacks the closest enemy with the fury of Tiamat

##Interesting Abilities
Rage of the Dragonborn: When 6+ Enemies are attacking Arkhan, his base attack gains a small cleave and does 5x damage, when 16+ Enemies are attacking, his base attack is a massive Flame Breath attack that does 25x damage. Counts each enemy enrage stack as an additional attacker.
Gaar's Note: At 16+ enemies, his base attack becomes a magical attack.

Heroic Fury: Increases the Health of all Champions by 25% of Arkhan's Max Health
Rising Anger: Increases the damage of Evil Champions by 100% for each enemy attacking Arkhan and/or each enemy enrage stack.

Dark Order Synergy: Arkhan attacks 0.5 seconds sooner for each other Dark Order member in the formation

Bulk Up: All positional Formation Abilities Arkhan receives are buffed if Arkhan is in the front column of the formation (base 50%)

Gaar's Note: Both Bulk Up and Usurped Power reference "positional Formation Abilities" which may lead you to think they work with every incoming buff, but that is not the case. In the Formation Buffs tab, abilities that are affected by Bulk Up will read (Applied at 150% rate of the original) while abilities affected by Usurped Power will read (Usurped) next to the ability name and will note the rate applied as well.

##Legendary Effects
- Increases the damage of all Champions by 10% for each Champion in the formation
- Increases the damage of all Male Champions by 125%
- Increases the damage of all Champions by 85% for each Dragonborn Champion in the formation
- Increases the damage of all Champions with a CHA score of 13 or higher 150%
- Increases the damage of all Champions by 30% for each Champion with a CON score of 13 or higher in the formation
- Increases the damage of all Champions by 40% for each Champion in the formation with an Evil alignment

As one of the Core 12 Champions, you'll primarily find their Gear in regular Silver and Gold Chests, as well as Electrum Chests. Their Gear also appears in certain Weekend Deal Chests and Patron Chests, if they qualify for that Patron.
This Champion has an Achievement you can start working on.

Have Arkhan use Fire Breath 10,000 times
Gaar's Note: This one's pretty straightforward. Park on a level where you consistently have 16+ enemies stacked up but you can stay alive and then just let it do its thing until you get the achievement. Speed potions are helpful here or you can just let it idle while you go do something else.
