Link?
Sorry I thought I did. Ill post a top comment with the link to the page, repository and my part on my portfolio with screens. One sec.
Is there an APK? I'd like to try this.
Its not native only web. Just go to the site and sign up and you're in. I mostly made it for a portfolio project and a friend of mine who found she couldn't find a completely free thought record. Its heavily optimized to work for cell phones. If you have any feedback I'd love to hear it. You can use it on desktop as well but I didn't work too hard on making it as smooth of an experience. https://kylehgc.github.io/CBTree/#/signup The dark mode looks a lot better as well.
Where are the records stored, and can they be exported? This looks great, but my fear is the website might go offline and I will lose the records.
Right now they are stored on deta which makes a pretty big deal about their databases/hosting being free forever and the site is hosted on github. So its pretty safe and stable as of now.
That being said I haven't really put it out there until today so I haven't actually had any feature requests! I can definitely add that functionality. Do you think a plain text representation like that it already does:
alternativethought: null
emotion: "Meh"
evidenceagainst: null
evidencefor: null
mood: [{mood: "Anxious", moodRating: 61}]
rerateemotion: null
situationquestion: "A situation"
thoughts: null
timeCreated: 1655047784000
A visual representation like it is in the app, or something custom for this purpose? And is it okay for the first one to always get all at once or do you think you'd need to be able to download individual ones?
Thanks again for trying it out!
Maybe generate a CSV for all the data. I'm not a coder but maybe connecting to GitHub you could store the records in your GitHub profile which offers free hosting?
It generates JSON which is pretty similar. I was mostly just curious if you were okay with a text representation or wanted something more visual to look at when checking it out. Integrating with google drive or something could work but I'm really weary about privacy concerns and I wouldn't want people accidentally having their thought records public.
Thanks again for the feedback. I've got a couple of other things I need to get to but I should have it going this week and I'll let you know when it is.
Cheers,
Kyle
I really am enjoying this. Thank you!!!
I'm so glad to hear this. I have been pretty lazy at the promotion of the app because I built it for my friend plus future work and it's really great to hear that people are using it.
