I am a straight man in his 30’s

This much I know to be true

Yet behind that lies a secret

Those memories of you.

To kiss my wife excites me

Her curves ignite my soul

Yet long ago in boyhood

It was you I longed to hold

We dressed it up as games

Too naive to know

We pressed our bodies tightly

And took it very slow

I suppose we were explorers

Much too young for shame

But I remember fondly

I hope you do the same

Now when I see rainbows

I feel such hope for pride

And when I see the hatred

It hurts the boy inside

Do I know the struggle?

No, I haven’t got a clue

Though when I see your love

I wonder if I’m LGBToo?
