You've done a good job of telling a story in just a few lines. The line "a spark of light that birthed a bitter dark," is strong imo. I also like the idea of "galactic memories." I do wonder though if the word should be "then" instead of "than."

Nice poem, i really like the line about hairs standing at attention to the wind.

There was a moment, a spark of light that birthed a bitter dark,

Cold feeling, the air brushed over my skin, every hair stood as if a soldier called to attention, 

The great dark was ahead, galactic memories seemed to torment than vanish all together, 

Maybe it’s for the better,
The final disconnect.
