Lines in swatches when exported to jpegs
when making swatches and exporting them as jpegs these lines appear in the image. ive gone into the swatches and adjusted the boundaries but that does not always fix the issue. it feels more like a glitchy thing going on. some of the swatches, made the same exact way, do not have the lines. while in illustrator there is no indication of borders being off, it only happens when exporting to jpegs. it is making me crazy as I work with a lot of materials that I need to replicate and I do not notice it until im about to send the files to a customer. im on a Mac running Monterey 12.2.1 and ive updated illustrator but it did not fix the lines from appearing.... any advice?

why are you using jpeg and not png or other format?
customer requests jpegs as opposed to other formats. if I sent them a png their head would explode in confusion. this particular customer is not techy so I try to make things as easy as possible for them.... on a side note when I switch to a pdf format for multiple pages it changes some of my masked areas and gradients, but that is an entirely different issue.
Use PNG. They will likely not notice the difference, but get smaller files and better quality.
If they ask, then that is what you explain. They can use it just like JPEG.
they don't have to understand it, just use it as an image like they would jpeg
