LED Strip Lighting

Help & Questions

Hello sub

Our young daughter has just moved into her brand new "grown up" room, and I'm looking into fitting cost-effective LED strip lighting to make it extra special.

We already have some HUE striplights in our home but I can't really afford to go branded this time around.

I'm interested in both white-only LEDs and also colour changing.

I'd welcome any recommendations, please, for:

  • decent quality strips,
  • available in the UK,
  • that are ideally compatible with the Hue Bridge,
  • but kinder on the wallet than the official products

I understand this might not be possible but I appreciate the advice either way.

I'm willing to go non bridge compatible, perhaps with a dedicated remote control, if I need to consider that.

Much thanks!

Govee RGBIC on Amazon for around £25 5M. Really good and I would say second best of course hue being top of the range.

Nice one, thanks for the tip.

They look pretty decent and have lots of positive reviews.

I've found two 5M RBIC products on Amazon, one is about a fiver more expensive but features smart assistant support via WiFi. Might go for that version assuming the strips themselves are the same thing otherwise.
