Pro owner here, from a while back. I immediately recognised how useful Quick Cursor is the moment I tried it the first time, so the purchase was a no brainer.

However, I don't get to use the app as much as I'd like.

This is because every time I enable the app service and give it Accessibility access, the phone's UI hangs/locks intermittently.

Turning off the screen for a few moments seems to return things to normal for a very short while, but after a bit if use it locks up again.

Once I remove Accessibility access or disable the app itself, the phone begins to respond properly again.

I don't use Chrome, but I do use a chromium browser - automatic simplified view is turned of

Our young daughter has just moved into her brand new "grown up" room, and I'm looking into fitting cost-effective LED strip lighting to make it extra special.

We already have some HUE striplights in our home but I can't really afford to go branded this time around.

I'm interested in both white-only LEDs and also colour changing.

I'd welcome any recommendations, please, for:

• decent quality strips,
• available in the UK,
• that are ideally compatible with the Hue Bridge,
• but kinder on the wallet than the official products

Firstly, I love Relay. I'm a Pro owner and I can't do without it.

In that context, this is not a complaint, it's just a report.

The vibration setting for the new swipe gestures has no effect whether on or off, there is no vibration feedback.

This applies to both posts and comments.

Anybody else have it working?

Hi friends.

I'd like to play a YouTube URL on my Chromecast using AutoCast.

The video appears on the TV along with YouTube logo, title and play icon but the video doesn't actually start playing.

An additional AutoCast Media Control action to start/top has no effect either.

• I own AutoCast Unlock Key
• I have removed all Chromecast devices from the app itself
• I have added back only the device I want to cast to
• I have set this device as favourite
• I set this device in the Tasker action
• I have tried using both AutoCast Best Guess and AutoCast Full-screen Media

Nothing works.

Can anybody help please?

I read somewhere (probably in the comments on VKB's how-to video of swapping the A1 mini-stick with a HAT switch) that the A1, A3 and A4 HAT caps are interchangeable if needed.

My question:

Have any of you sourced or 3D printed either additional caps of the same design, or modelled their own?

I'm primarily interested in printing extra versions of the existing caps, in case I have a preference for one of them over the others

Is it just me, or has the super duper recently introduced "clone task action" icon disappeared from the toolbar in the Edit Task view?

The text option itself is still available via the 3-dot menu top right, but that icon was super handy.

Couldn't see anywhere in Tasker options that I might have disabled or changed this.

Brand new owner of a Neptune 2 FDM printer, I know very little about the hobby/obsession.

I've been reading into safety precautions of various filament materials (online sources, the wiki here, some papers) and would appreciate some consensus confirmation on my findings, given that not all sources of information agree.

1. ABS, PETG and Nylon filaments can release harmful gases while printing, thus ventilation is essential

2. PLA does not, thus ventilation is less of an issue

3. Printing with filament may also release microscopic particles with long term harmful effects

I cannot find a definitive source that covers each material on this last point.

I'm looking for a project or plugin that enables capturing of custom size screenshots on my phone, similar to the Windows Snipping Tool on desktop.

The difference is that whereas WST copies the selected portion of the screen to clipboard I'd want to (save it in the background and) share.

There are plenty of Android apps that do this but as always I'd prefer to replace them with Tasker instead.
