Hereās a question - why in the world would you fly from LA to Paris for a fragrance release party? She trying to imply that the brand paid for the trip. Iām no expert but it seems like this was a self-funded trip. Also, her podcast description from yesterday says she is āon vacationāā¦

I work on digital marketing with influencers often and commented on another post in the thread with more deets. But I digress - to be honest it doesnāt feel like a sponsorship trip. She literally only posted stories - thereās no stand alone grid post, there were no hashtags, no disclosure with #ad or #sponsored or even #partner.
I could see her getting invited if she was already in town or maybe even her agency/manager trying to pull a Hail Mary to just get her associated with brands right now to try to save her status as an influencer, but nothing about the trip makes it seem like it was an actually true influencer sponsorship trip.
This trip was more likely sponsored by her hotel breakfast buffet - it got more exposure than the brand she was tagging.

HA on the buffet. Really good points on the no stand alone post on her grid. The sloppy stories seem to point in the direction of a self-funded sad trip. Her flight home was cancelled. Hope she doesnāt wind up in coach on her flight home- not sure sheās capable of surviving that

I think the Irish influencer she reposted was actually there on a brand trip. You could tell because she had multiple stories about getting ready with the perfume that felt very sponsored. Tinx justā¦held it in her lap.
