Cleanser recs please (Shani Darden dupe?)

Hi all, need some cleanser recs. I (48F) have dry sensitive skin. I'm currently using the cleansing serum from Shani Darden and I really like it. It lathers a tiny bit, doesn't strip my skin, it leaves it feeling clean and doesn't leave behind a film. No irritation at all. But it's $38 and I can't justify that for something I'm just washing off.

I've tried Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser & CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser and hated them both. It felt like I was putting almost a slime on my face and they both feel like they don't rinse clean and leave behind a film. I don't need my cleanser to moisturize, just clean (I have a great moisturizer I love).

Any suggestions for a gentle cleanser that doesn't leave a film and leaves your face feeling clean? Doesn't have to be drugstore prices but nothing over say $20.

Thanks!

Vanicream cleanser - bland (almost no irritant), and La Roche Posay (effaclar). I’ve been switching between these two, and my combination skin is quite happy.

+1 to vanicream cleanser. My skin feels clean but never stripped. I use it in the morning and at night.

The cerave SA cleanser (salicylic acid) is a regular style of gentle foaming, lather and rinse that I recently swapped to and really like. The hydrating one never makes me feel like my skin in clean.

My go to for the last 2 years has been Stratia Velvet Cleansing Milk. Doesn’t foam, but I also don’t find that it leaves a film. My skin is very dry.
