Subjectively, I think that you could build on what you have here in a few ways.

You could develop the image of / comparison to chicken-ness in the first stanza. Perhaps place a second stanza dealing with the things that are imposed on 'chickens' which overlap with the ordeal of women: beaks shorn off to stop fighting, flight feathers plucked, pumped full of medication and chemicals to deal with their unnatural environment.

You could also if you were open to changing the tone, attempt to employ a kind of dry and incisive wit. Sometimes this helps carry a message of social injustice more effectively than being earnest, but that may be a matter of personal taste on my part.

I like the concept here. I hadn't thought before of how apt the comparison between women and consumer goods might be in a chauvinistic society. Nice idea and nicely done!
