I wrote your name before I knew you.
I meant what I said when I prayed for someone like you who,
Would make me feel, my heart again,
Which I abandoned.
I demanded so much from you,
I forgot how fragile,
You were.
There was no worth I could attach to you,
As you were priceless to me,
And I still stupidly,
Spilled what should have been cherished so,
Carefully.
And now I only see you in my heart and dreams,
Talking to me like we once did so many times.
You were my best friend. My shining light.
I live in darkness now, sleeping in the day,
Tightly holding on to memories past…
So fast they went? I long for the time we spent.
If I could repeat it again, I would repeat it again.
Even with the pain, I would do it again.
Maybe in a past life, I missed getting you… and now I’m chasing you,
Through space and time.
Loving you to infinity.
