I’ve read this over and over trying to find the deeper meaning behind it, I know it’s there.  I picture a lonely man looking down at a puddle to find it’s just as lonely as he is.  Anyways, it’s a good poem.  Short, sweet and descriptive.  You did a good job at describing the setting as well.  All and all great job, keep up the good work!

Love the linking imagery. Cool, calm and vivid.

Damn now I is thinkin bout that lonely cloud that made that lonely puddle so i could look at my lonely ass self, smh. That hurt yk. n my dumbass waving to myself in the puddle and saying goodbye because I'm the only one who would say sup or seeya to me. This is a big depress

I hope you know when I said I'm struggling to find the meaning, I wasn't implying that there wasn't meaning behind it, but that I know it's there but don't see it.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong because the imagery to me was that even this puddle, evaporating on the sidewalk, is going to return to its 'kind' (the ocean) whilst the subject of the poem is left alone. 

This was a really beautiful poem, and took me a couple of reads to catch the nuances.

That line took me a couple of reads to get right, and I know from the capitalisation that you played with the word placement too. I think it does need broken earlier, maybe at 'The' instead of 'summer'?

If my interpretation of the poem was correct, maybe you could adjust the ending so that the subject is more isolated. I'm not going to pretend to know how to get it to fit in, but something like

> "Our lips trembled / But only one "Goodbye"

But tbh, I did like it as it was so I wouldn't worry if you found the ending fulfilling too.

The imagery is too good. I like how you’ve hidden something more deeper in your poem. The overall setting of it, you’ve done a great job. I like your poem a lot.

A Lonely puddle on the sidewalk ,

Still but glittering,

floating On the heating

summer waves,

Heading to its shore

To only find my reflection

Waiting there,

We both waved,

our lips trembled 

saying "Goodbye"
