This is the first and currently only existing part of a projected horror-cum-slice-of-life novella I'm starting on. Do note that this is set in (an augmented version of) the real-world city of Lexington, KY, and that the Necronomicon neither exists in-universe nor will act as a major element in subsequent chapters.
