[670] True Romance - Flash Fiction

Wrote this as flash fiction inspired by two different songs. Roses are Falling and Doin' Time. Don't need to be familiar with the songs but thought it'd just be fun to know!

Here's the story

My main questions:

1. How's the prose? Does it feel polished
2. What kind of vibe/genre do you get from this?
3. Does it hold up as flash fiction?
4. I tried my hand at a little twisted romance (I plan on writing more romance centered stuff in the future lol)
5. How do you feel about the characters by the end
6. Any unanswered/lingering questions by the end?
