it's probably a dead symlink. "rm -f path" should get rid of it.
Why the flag is after the filename?
Faster to type ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just arrow up the write the flag
You dropped this \ (due to formatting, you'll need to put three backslashes together to form that first arm)
Dammit no wonder my right arm hurts badly. Thanks!
For memes
I always do that, It minimizes the chance of rming a different directory if you hit enter early.
rm -rf projects/something/somefile
could become rm -rf projects/ but, rm projects/something/somefile -r could become rm projects Which throws an error.
rm -rf / --no-preserve-root and you're good to go.
Gonna have to ssh into your pc to try that out
You don't have to. I've done it as experiment. Whole thing stops working and then it freezes with black screen then bunch of errors if you restart and it's dead.
Thank you for your service 🙏🙏
With pain :,-)
What is that catpr ?
It's a reminder tool I made myself. It's simply allowing add/remove an entry to disk and view them, no fancy feature. https://gitlab.com/waimus/cataphract
Sounds minimal. Looks nice. I'll give it a try
Lmao
rm -rf path
