Has there been any word from the devs regarding any further patches?

Take a look through this sub and you'll notice a pattern: pretty much every post is someone complaining about a bug, a glitch, or some kind of technical problem with the game. I myself am one of many PS5 players who liked the game enough to finish it, only to have their saves wiped out. From the sounds of it, the Switch version barely functions at all.

As far as I've seen on here and on twitter, the devs haven't posted anything in weeks. I understand that these things take time and shouldn't be rushed, but can we get an indication of where things are at, or whether or not we should be expecting fixes at all?

Any communication from the devs on these issues would be greatly appreciated by everyone here, I'm sure.

I am a Switch player. I got it on release and the long load times were so bad that I stopped playing after completing the first dungeon and reaching the town. After the patch that supposedly fixed the loading, I tried playing again.

I pretty much got half through the pyramid and quit again after it crashed when I wanted to equip a different accessory. The load times are still atrocious too.

It is absurd especially seeing how so many other metroidvanias play so well on the switch.

Monster Sanctuary Monster Boy Blaster Master Zero 1, 2, and 3 Hollow Knight Blasphemous

Do I need to go on? Right now I am playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and the game works wonderfully. Load times rarely happen except for moving between areas.

This is the first time where I have quit a metroidvania that I was semi enjoying, because it is so horribly optimised.

Switch player here. It would be nice if it was fixed for anyone who's still waiting for it to be playable (I was), or for anyone who unwittingly buys it down the line rightly expecting a game that works and that they have a good chance of completing.

But, personally, after 2 months I've deleted it, moved on to other games, and won't be buying their next one. At least not without a lot of research first

If you look at this sub, you'll see the last time the devs even commented was a month ago, and it was only to answer a question about the future physical release. They've ignored the 100s of users asking for updates on the broken game they released. They've made no comments regarding the last update that came out almost a month ago and hownit fixed essentially nothing. Don't give them your money.

It's such a shame as the game itself was really enjoyable. The save data corruption is hard to swallow and I would struggle to play it again if I have lost that data for ever.

I hope the Devs can come back from this and make the product playable. Makes me think too many platforms released at once as the PC one seems to be the only one I've seen with no issues.

Yeah I was thinking they spread themselves too thinly as well. Will definitely be a red flag for me in future when an indie dev releases on all platforms at once

I lost my save game, when on my new game+ run, when I saved in the fire temple.

I saved at a shrine, the game crashed and then subsequently deleted my new game+ save slot.

I was fuming and immediately deleted the game.

Never again! I’m done. This game is terrible 😡

No, developers and publisher have been radio silent. In fact, another post about this here in the sub has been deleted, I don't know if by moderation or the OP.

I have seen a person answering people on the Discord that is seemingly a developer, getting feedback and bug reports, however.

But still, no roadmap or time frame and the disappearing save bug, for example, is still running amok on consoles.

Their sticky patch notes pinned says that more are coming soon.

If we apply Blizzard rules for soon... Hopefully before the eventual heat death of life as we know it.
