Non-bookmark autocomplete in address bar...
With recent updates, I'm getting autocomplete suggestions that I have no interest in. For instance, when I am about to go to Reddit, typing in "Re..." gets me "Redbox." Which isn't of any interest to me. Redbox will never be what I'm going for. At no point in my life will typing the letters "Re..." be in service of reaching the Redbox website. But it can't be removed as far as I can tell. Am I just stuck with a particularly annoying form of Mozilla monetizing the browser by selling autocompletes to companies or is there some sort of fix that I simply cannot figure out? I know how to remove bookmarks and browsing history, but this one is defeating me.

I would try toggling off menu > Settings > Privacy & Security > Address Bar — Firefox Suggest > Suggestions from the web
The only thing I have toggled on there is bookmarks, so that shouldn't have been the problem. But I just turned off bookmarks, which did fix the problem. Except now it won't autofill anything, including bookmarks (like Reddit), which defeats the purpose. Thanks for the suggestion, though. At least now I know technically how to turn it off, even if that's a scorched earth result. I'm just tired of typing in letters for preferred sites and getting what appear to be sponsored links autofilling instead.
Is it possible you have a bookmark to redbox? Have you searched?
Yeah, I've checked. It's definitely not a bookmark. I've even tried to bookmark it and it asks for confirmation to add it to my bookmarks.
If you are signed into Sync, sign out first to avoid any interference. Search for the unwanted site in bookmarks (Ctrl+B) and history (Ctrl+H), delete any occurrences then visit
about:support#place-database, click the "Verify Integrity" button, wait for it to complete then restart. You should have "Browsing history" enabled in address bar suggestions if you want autofill based on your most visited sites.
