We used to live in a lake! Get up half an hour before going to bed to work a 27 hour day at the mill, and lick the road clean for our supper.

I could hear the boom-bangs from a distance in Orléans--I kid you not--while sitting outside. I can't imagine how loud all of that was downtown.
