This is something I wrote a long time back and only a few people have seen it. Hope to get some feedback.

The lost Soulmate

Slowly came the time of her arrival, A moment of joy, my heart's carnival. The fire in her eyes was still the same, But on it was someone else's claim.

She had come but not to stay, And like always, she kept me in grey, Never clearly expressing what she wanted Once and for all my heart vented.

I stood there baffled at my own action, Our relation had just lost all it's traction. I wished I would never see her again, Moments and memorries, all went down the drain.

I spent my days trying to forget the past, And these dreadful nights, I hoped would end fast. I wonder if it was my actions or my fate That had cost me my soulmate.

Never again did I find such love, No one to rewrite my memorries, my Treasure Trove.
