A poem about Grief
Grief can be the smell of a flower
Grief can be the dust on your shelf that you won't wipe away
Grief can be in the shape of a waterfall of gentle smoke
Grief will hide in yellow cars, tents, music and rivers
Grief will strap goggles to your face in the shape of roses that's essence is your memories
Grief is a lonely spirit collecting a library of lost love
Grief will guide you too them in your dreams and be there when you wake up alone
Grief is loves best friend
Grief will knock on the door and sit in their chair
Grief will do this as a kindness so the space is still filled with something
Grief will come back as many times as you need
If you don't answer the door to grief it will climb in through your window and place itself on the smell of your flowers.
(This is my first time on here so thank you for reading 😊)
