The last year of therapy and lifestyle changes have done quite some wonders lol

This one really hits with coming out of a pretty bad stretch of some depression issues and trying to remember that despair isn’t what makes up my existence. Great poem, OP!

Quick and to the point— I like it.  Short lines following by longer ones gives a nice flow.

I like the feelings that it gives :D very inspiring!

My story is not one of despair.

Although at times it seemed as if despair was a reasonable option.

My will is unyielding.

My courage burns brighter than the sun.

Do not look down on me now, for I have only begun.
