Tremendous imagery - I used very similar in my poem "Parched."  I love how to the point this is, as well as the metaphor of pouring oneself out too fast.

Sums up the feelings of resentment and disgust experienced in a hangover very well.  Nicely done.

help me: i'm pouring myself out

too fast to fight off the shakes since

that frantic search for catharsis;

&amp;nbsp;

there's nothing left to cleanse 

that's not too little already; a cup

shouldn't overflow as fast as this.
