Crossroads show

Comes a cry from the carnival caller,

“Strongmen will soon be tested in the glen!

Bearded woman braids herself a collar,

Her mustache and goatee are none too thin.

Listen while demon clowns hoot and holler

That and so much more you can see within.

Where a pauper is a prince of squalor,

get your ticket for less than a dollar!

Come one, come all! Come, weave a rope of sin.

Come! To crossroads fair!” cries the devil’s kin.
