What do you call the non-melee, non-ranged units?

Discussion

Hello everybody,

right now we know of three different unit types.

  1. melee

  2. ranged

And no, I did not forget to type anything behind 3. ;-)

So what do you call this type of units?

I´m calling them special units, because calling them “non-melee, non-ranged units” appears a little too long to me and they all seem to do some very special things.

Also the blank space in the profile of these units puts me off a little.

Or maybe there is an official term for these units which will be placed in the unit profile at some point in the future?

I’ve been calling them either “spellcatsers” or “specials”, but they that’s not a great term.

Personally I just call them hybrid characters or just hybrids. Quick and to the point of it, as well as the first thing that came to mind

To me, hybrid implies that they can do both where at least some of these do neither.

I think "special" is a fine designation.

I refer to them in my head as Passive units.

But I suppose I considering the artillery type units as Ranged units, even though they have no free ranged attack.

Could be Special / range , Special / passive , etc.
