There are some threads discussing possible options for a constructed tournament rule set (most of the time discussing sideboards).

So I just want to pitch in and post what I would like to see.

I´m sure some points might be a little controversial (4-6 see below) because they are limiting deck building. ;-)

But I think they could create even more creativity in deck building.

  1. Swiss style

  2. X rounds (depending on player count)

  3. Best of 3

  4. Every player has to bring 3 decks

  5. All 6 inks have to be used (2 per deck as usual)

  6. After every win in a round a winning deck can no longer be used in that round (even in a possible 3rd matchup in that round)

So the winner of a game has

Here are some guesses for the distribution of Characters, Actions/Songs and Items per ink (with the assumption of 34 cards per ink for the known total of 204 cards).

The following is based on the cards known as of May 30th 2023.

Since we know the card types within an ink colour are sorted by Characters first, then Actions/Songs and finally Items, we need to find the “transitions” within the inks between “Characters and Actions/Songs” and “Actions/Songs and Items” in order to find out how many cards of each type will be available in each ink.

So here are the numbers:

Hello everybody,

I do have a question about the boosters, that is not of importance right now but might be of importance in roughly 120 days.

When is the content of a booster determined by the game?

Is it the moment it get added to an accout, or the moment a player clicks to open the booster?

This will make a difference when a new season begins and palyers may have saved up some boosters they got rewarded during a earlier season in oderer to get a little head start on the new units.

In the first variant saving up boosters will be useless in terms of getting the new units, while in the second variant ther will be a chance to get the new units with these "o

Hello everybody,

after almost two weekends of playing Cargo Run , I think this is a good moment for some feedback.

On the first weekend I almost exclusively played Cargo Run (did not record the runs), this weekend I played 10 runs so far (5 Wins: 6 times - 3 Wins: 1 time - 2 Wins: 2 times - 1 Win: 1 time).

Bugs:

I noticed (probably) two small bugs.

Ekti Overcharge only using the Electrolyze ability on himself and not buffing any other allys. Not sure if this is intended, but makes this boss more interesting to play against.

After the end of run 8 I immediately wanted to start run 9.

I could chose a roster and click to start t

Funny interaction...

Gameplay & Strategy

If you want to create a mini private death match: Attack Broken Vengeance in melee.

The melee attack will trigger Revenge, which will trigger Retaliate, which will trigger Revenge and so on...

Made me laugh really hard!

Hello everybody,

is it known if "only" melee units do retaliate when attacked in melee?

Read: Do non melee units (ranged and "special") retaliate too, if attacked in melee?

Hello everybody,

right now we know of three different unit types.

  1. melee

  2. ranged

And no, I did not forget to type anything behind 3. ;-)

So what do you call this type of units?

I´m calling them special units, because calling them “non-melee, non-ranged units” appears a little too long to me and they all seem to do some very special things.

Also the blank space in the profile of these units puts me off a little.

Or maybe there is an official term for these units which will be placed in the unit profile at some point in the future?

Based upon the release trailer and the images shown on the official Moonbreaker homepage I put together what is known of the units in so far.

[edit September 9th]

Updated all units with data from 1st playtest weekend

[/edit]

So the following will be far from complete and might contain several misunderstandings of me interpreting the trailer!

First of all I tried to identify a unit´s profile. Right now it seems to contain the following information:

· Deploy Cost

· Name

· Culture and Rank

· Type

· Skill(s) / Abilities / Traits (if any)

· Attack / Melee

· HP

At the moment we know of 3 cultures (Methedori, Smugglers and Cholek) and t

Just tested Cast into Time vs. AI.

If you target one of your own creatures with it and your opponent runs this creature copies in your opponents deck will be banished ;-)

Hello everybody,

probably a silly question: But how can I find out which place I finished in the Grand Melee?

My guess is it was shown when we got the Piercing Javelins. Problem with that is: I was one of the players that did not get them right away, and when they where "patched in" there was no way to see which place I finished.

On a related topic:

Is there a chance we get some sort of statistics from the Grand Melee like: How many players played in total, or at least the percantages of players finishing with X wins and so on?
