I've worked up this life 

Just to be nice 

I have walked down many roads 

To be here 

A solo sunflower 

Growing away from the sun 

Facing and shown in the shadows

But nonetheless shining like innocent seeds 

That have just begun 

I've known all along who I wanted to be 

And after 20 years of seeing me move through 

Directions 

I was finally brought

To this imperfect

Bright and free.
