I buy the trades just to support the series and artists because it’s my favorite and I want it to continue. But I almost immediately give them to my friend and then buy the Omni when it comes out because that’s the format I prefer.

Huh. So only 15 more? The omnibus of Volume 1 of Aphra was more than 40 issues. I don’t get it.

It’s a fun romp. Not as good as the Soule Star Wars book. I’m also liking Bounty Hunters more. I’m confused, though, why they are releasing it incomplete at 25. Are there really enough issues to come to fill up a second omnibus?

I prefer the omnibus editions myself, though I totally understand the appeal of the TPBs given their size and more steady output. Given the second volume of the Aphra omni is #1-25, I figure there might be another volume collecting issues 26 and beyond (I hope!).

It isn’t very good. Neither is the first one after Gillen leaves.

Been thinking if i should wait for this one or just get the trades

Thoughts on the Aphra omni Vol 2?
