Ciao a tutti! Grazie in anticipo

Based on my quick estimates a flight from Lisbon to Tokyo would travel about 12 million kilometers, with a route over asia and europe, and flying against the rotation of the earth. Woulnd't it be quicker then, to fly in the opposite direction, over the Pacific and the Atlantic? A route the altough a longer (15 million kilometers) would be quicker because of the rotation of the earth?

Thanks in advance, and apologies for my english.
