Wheelchair accessible rental / morning help

I've got a ticket booked for early Jan-early Feb to Tahiti but the person I was to travel with, flaked. I'm a wheelchair user looking for a rental for a month (can be a private room or separate unit) but would also need brief morning assistance with getting out of bed. It's literally a two-minute process of helping me sit up from bed. Other than that I'm totally independent and low maintenance. My chair can go up one small step (5-6cm max) and is about 66cm wide.

Not particular to any specific island. I've stayed on Moorea before but am open to anything that's accessible and preferably within rolling distance of stores and restaurants (<2km). Feel free to DM me any leads or ideas or if you might have an accommodation yourself. Cheers!

Hi! I’d suggest contacting guesthouses and resorts. Given the fact that you only need some small assistance and you’re coming in the off-season, I think they’d be willing to assist you.

As to which island to recommend, there are plenty, so it could be easier if you tell us what you would like to do and I’ll suggest you where to go and which place to stay at!

Hello and thanks a lot for your message! I am intending to do a simple work/relax trip so I'd just like to be in a spot where I can distract myself with the ocean or a roll to a store or restaurant nearby. I've been there before but had the luck of staying at the Sofitel Moorea which is above and beyond my price range right now, so I'm pretty open to smaller guest houses/etc. Bed/desk/wifi is about all I need! :)

I would check out Maupiti for the relax part (but I’d ask the various guesthouses about wifi quality for work) or maybe Raiatea-Taha’a for a good mix of both relax and work.
