I cannot use keys easily and typing in codes is hard as well, so I got a wifi enabled door lock and hooked it into alexa so now when I need to unlock or lock from the inside I can use my voice. I also have the amazon echo auto so before I turn off my car, I say "Alexa unlock home" and the door is unlocked when I approach it. Awesome in winter! You can also control it with the Alexa app so if I'm out and about and think I forgot to lock I can lock it.

There are supposed to be some location based routines as well but I haven't gotten that far yet.

I was looking at the scores for Kaori Sakamoto at the 2024 Lombardia and she did two 2As as solo jumps and the 2nd one looks like it was scored regularly but according the the free skate requirements it says "If both executions (of the same Axel or multi-rotation jump) are as solo jumps, the second of these jumps will receive 70% of its original base value." Am I missing something? I don't see any reduction for element #3.

Imagine having to be carried onto a plane (because it's 2024 and there still aren't designated wheelchair spaces like every other mode of transit). Then you're transferred into an aisle seat in one of the first rows. And since it's cramped and difficult, you can't move yourself or be easily moved to the window. It's not a full flight so the flight attendant says don't worry about it you will have that row to yourself.

But then every five people that board, someone looks at you like, "Can you stand up so I can sit there?" and you have to repeat yourself at least 20 times that "No, I can't stand up because I use a wheelchair."

I TOTALLY get it. You can't tell that I'm a wheelchair user if

I've got a ticket booked for early Jan-early Feb to Tahiti but the person I was to travel with, flaked. I'm a wheelchair user looking for a rental for a month (can be a private room or separate unit) but would also need brief morning assistance with getting out of bed. It's literally a two-minute process of helping me sit up from bed. Other than that I'm totally independent and low maintenance. My chair can go up one small step (5-6cm max) and is about 66cm wide.

Not particular to any specific island. I've stayed on Moorea before but am open to anything that's accessible and preferably within rolling distance of stores and restaurants (<2km). Feel free to DM me any leads or ideas or if y

I am interested in spending a few months from January-March/Feb-April, something like that, in French Polynesia and am trying to find a resource like craigslist to find a rental, with internet, that could be a room in a home or something while I work remotely. Not sure exactly where to look but any info would be appreciated. Or if you know of/have a place please feel free to contact me.

Tjenamårs! I am having trouble finding a service/taxi that has a wheelchair ramp or lift to get me to the airport this August and I think it might be because my Swedish is terrible and I can't search properly. Does anyone know of a company/way to get there? The airport transfer buses are not accessible according to Flygbussarna. Thank you in advance for any help!

I purchased this RC winch that typically would be powered with a LiPo battery but I am sort of new to electronics and am not sure what I should do to get this thing powered via regular outlet/power adapter for a non RC application. I'm sorry if this is the most basic of questions but I really don't want to blow up a $100 piece of equipment. Thanks in advance for your help!
