Hello readers, welcome to OCpoetry. This subreddit is a writing workshop community -- a place where poets of all skill levels can share, enjoy, and talk about each other's poetry. Every person who's shared, including the OP above, has given some feedback (those are the links in the post) and hopes to receive some in return (from you, the readers).

If you really enjoyed this poem and just want to drop a quick comment, to show some appreciation or give kudos, things like "great job!" or "made me cry", or "loved it" or "so relateable", please do. Everyone loves a compliment. Thanks for taking the time to read and enjoy.

If you want to share your own poem, you'll need to give this writer some detailed feedback. Good feedback explains from your point of view what it was like to read the poem, and then tries to explain how the poem made you feel like that. If you're not sure what that means, check out our [feedback guide](https://new.reddit.com/r/ocpoetry/wiki/feedbackcritiques), or look

Thank you so much! 💗 I have been writing poetry since a really young age so I don't think I will stop. Lol. One of my passions.

This is beautiful imagery. I love cool little metaphors (i think thats the right term for the "arrows into flowers" line) and that last line is just so impactful. I relate to the feeling of this as well, and honestly the word choice just helps that hit even harder. I hope you keep writing because this was wonderful :3

Oh my wow! 💗 Yes, please do. I would love to see a pic. Thanks so much, this made my day.

Such a beautiful and relatable poem. The last three lines are so iconic. I'm sure anyone has loved someone enough to turn their self doubt into the love they feel for their partner. I would really like to get those last three tattooed. May I have your permission?

>"I will rush - towards the war

Something to think about. I really do like your suggestion (mirror strike) but when I read it out loud I feel the flow is better as is. BUT i am still considering. Lol. Thanks so much for your feedback. Happy you enjoyed it. 💗

Sheesh, short powerful poems are my favorite. Arrows into flowers is just so sweet I love it.

Im hesitant to call it a critique because it really is fine just as it is, but you could possibly change line 2 and 3 to "I will rush - towards the war" as I will rush mirrors perfectly with I will strike.

Thank you OP, wonderful work.

Let me into your heart

and I'll rush in

toward the war

you have created within yourself,

I will strike

and stand before you

turning your arrows into flowers.
