"Not again." Spins in my head,
As the sheet slashes the pen
And the ink seeps out.

The hunger, moves fangs and lead.
The scar, forms itself again.
Chemical payout.

Black results, in lines misread.
Bled of ink, carcinogen,
Is my zeal for doubt.

A bird thrown out of its bed,
The sheet splats on the tiles. Then,
Ironic fallout.

In bed, out of bed, in bed.
Again, again and again.
Payout, doubt, fallout.
