I made it a full year. It started off that I was going to stop drinking around my family, then I was going to do sober October, and then I just kept going. I only had to *not* do something and honestly it wasn't a big deal for me. Over the summer I got into trying various craft NA beers and it was great. It reminded me of the fun part of drinking, trying tasty beverages, and I have really liked not feeling compelled to have 17 more after trying something. I'm not saying I'm never going to have a drink again, I might, I might not. Right now I really enjoy how my life is going without alcohol so I'm going to keep on this path and see where I end up.
