I have had a very hard time over the past few years finding my perfect road shoe. I tried zero drop for a while and it beat up my Achilles too much. I switched to low drop and have been pain free. Since then I have tried a bunch of different shoe until I landed on the Brooks Hyperion Max 2. I like the response, it's lower drop ~6mm, relatively light, and has an upper that fits my foot well. I've worn through 3 pairs and I'm working on my fourth pair but unfortunately I can't find them in stock anymore. The Max 3 looks like a completely different shoe so I'm not sure where to go from here. I use runrepeat.com as a guide but I figured I'd ask here as well.

I bought this truck used a few years ago and I love it. It's a basic truck without a ton of fancy features that I really don't want. However, some of the features are too basic and I can't get my head around why these would even be an option in 2018. Can someone point me towards a good forum or something where I can find information on upgrading these components on my own? I've tried searching and I keep hitting blogspam and endless used car sites.

First, the wipers don't have an intermittent setting. You can hold the stick up to manually run the wipers or there are two automatic speeds, normal and fast. I recently took a long trip where it was lightly raining. It wasn't enough rain for the

I made it a full year. It started off that I was going to stop drinking around my family, then I was going to do sober October, and then I just kept going. I only had to not do something and honestly it wasn't a big deal for me. Over the summer I got into trying various craft NA beers and it was great. It reminded me of the fun part of drinking, trying tasty beverages, and I have really liked not feeling compelled to have 17 more after trying something. I'm not saying I'm never going to have a drink again, I might, I might not. Right now I really enjoy how my life is going without alcohol so I'm going to keep on this path and see where I end up.

I’ll start by saying I’ve been a shitty husband. I put my wife through a lot of crap when I was drinking. I’ve been sober for 3 weeks and I haven’t had a drink around my family in 2 months.

I think my wife is cheating on me. I have strong suspicions but no real evidence. She Adamantly denies it. I’ve been sneaking around, listening to her conversations. When I confront her, she will talk to me about it and usually provides a decent explanation as to why my assumptions are incorrect. I’m starting to really make her mad with my constant suspicions but I just can’t control my thoughts.

I really want to have a few drinks to calm my mind and maybe give me an ego check.

I'm currently 2 days sober and I have 15 sober days this month so far. I'm going to try to go without alcohol through October. I've been a binge drinker of various severity for 20 years. I'm 37 and I'm just learning to figure out who I am, what I'm feeling, how to connect to people around me. I think the booze has been a crutch for most of my life and I'm tired of it interfering with my life. Not sure where to go from here but it feels good to put this in writing.

I got a new job a few months ago and I've been testing different routes to work. My newest route goes through Mendon Ponds via Canfield Rd. I've noticed a large number of dump trucks that drive on Canfield. I see at least one every morning and usually 3+ each evening and I only see them on Canfield Rd in the park. It seems strange. I used to commute on 490 and I'd rarely see so many dump trucks. Anyone have an idea why they travel through there? I would think that the county would ban big trucks from driving through the park.

I got my first real sysadmin position last week. My new company basically didn't have any working backups. So my first task is to at least get one backup of everything. We're a mainly Microsoft environment. I have a hyper-v server setup and I'm moving roles into VMs and using Veeam to backup. What should I use to backup the physical servers in the meantime? They range from Server 2000, 2003 to 2008 and one CentOS server. Thanks!
