Rings of Power should have been about Celebrimbor

I finally figured out why I'm frustrated with the show at its core. I was expecting a show about the forging of the rings of power, at least this first season should be all about celebrimbor. His relationship with the dwarves, his lineage, all about Eregion, etc.

I understand why they can't use the books other than the one Appendix, so I kind of get it. But I think this is the big point of why I'm upset. My expectations for what the show would be have been completely subverted, I know its only episode 5 but that should be plenty of time to have at least mention the idea of creating the damn rings.

Also I love the idea of focusing on Galadriel as a character, although I'm not stoked on this current depiction I'm not necessarily against it. I just don't think it fits with the idea of the show as "Rings of Power". Introduce her as a main character season 2. With Gil-Galad becoming more of a prominent character and Cirdan as they take ownership of their rings and such.

Thoughts?
