TDS - Significant fiber cut in Schaumburg, IL
It sounds like TDS has a pretty significant fiber cut in Shaumburg, IL which is causing a multi-state issue.
Update 10:45am CDT: Spectrum confirms the cut is causing issues for their customers as well.
Update 11:55am CDT: TDS has two major cuts - one in IL, one in MN - that are affecting TDS access in WI. Happy Friday.
Update 2:15pm CDT: Services are being restored, connectivity is coming back up. Happy Friday...

Admin in Wisconsin here. All of Wisconsin is without TDS service currently. It seems to only be affecting HTTP/HTTPS and VoIP the hardest. Other protocols seem to be flowing fine.
Yeah, our major sites are having major phone issues. General internet access is spotty at best.
Our TDS rep said they do not have a good time estimate yet for services to be fully restored.
Take the information as you will. We all know how reps aren’t always informed with accurate information.
Same, it'll be fixed when it's fixed.
