Minnesota transplant going to the home opener.

Hi everyone. I moved to Ohio from Minnesota about a year ago, and just bought tickets to attend the home opener next Friday. Believe it or not, this will be my first time seeing a live pro game. Anything I should know about the area? Parking? What to eat at the stadium? Thanks, and I look forward to getting more involved with this community.

I think Milalwi's mostly got you covered, so I'll just join them in saying welcome to the 5th Line!

Skol! Also a transplanted Minnesotan, albeit a long time ago.

Check this information out.

All Arena area park is controlled by ParkMobile.

I park in the McConnell Garage next to the Arena, but I'm old. :-)

You don't have to use parkmobile app. You can pay when you pull up to the lot.

And I also park in the McConnell lot because I usually have kids with me and can afford the $20.

True. It's a little cheaper if you buy it ahead of time, though.

Get to arena district early. Get a sandwich at Warrio’s before the game and you won’t need any more food till dinner next then next day.

Glad to have Nationwide arena be your first! She's a beauty. In terms of food, I haven't had much in there but the bacon on a stick is solid, but the paninis are what I'd recommend

I always park in the lot behind Brothers and walk. Pretty sure it's only $10 and it's not much of a walk but you got bars on the way so you can take your time. Beers are insane at the NWA.

Food? Dunno, generally I park and go to Brothers and eat something and grab a couple beers. Can't say I remember eating at a game before haha.

(I'm not an alcoholic even though it just sounded like it lol)

NWA is seriously the best sports arena I've ever been to. Doesn't matter where you sit, it's perfect. And there's tons of cool stuff to check out if you get there early.

Welcome! The 5TH Line just continues to grow! Gotta love it!

Park in the Neil ave parking lot! Skyline chili is an Ohio favorite and really good! Also you can never go wrong with some jets pizza!

I have used the Neil Ave garage for years now. It's usually very easy to get into and super convenient for me to leave. Highly recommend this garage.
