Why I slur when I say Jesus

Like do you know Jesus?

Do you think he was a

"Dirty hippy peace activist"

Do you think he

"Came to fulfill the Law and the Profits"

Do you look down on the tax collector

While supporting the troops

And watching dangerous sports

And playing competitive games

I just hope

You don't take at face value

That there may have been a man

Who may have been called Wittgenstein

Who may have said all speech boils down

To language games

Or take that a former Navy Seal commander

Named Jocko Wilinki

May have alluded to the idea

That conversation exists for coercion

Perhaps when violence is second nature

Or when you are sick of defending

The profession of thinking

You get glib

Or misunderstand freedom and equality
