[PC][US-W] Mac Pro 2019, well-specced
Trying to get a read on what I could get for this, in excellent condition:
- 2019 Mac Pro (tower)
- 3.3GHz 12-core CPU
- 192GB memory
- Radeon Pro W5700X 16GB
- 1TB SSD
- OWC Accelsior 4M2 card (unpopulated) https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/SSDACL4M20GB/ (retail $349)
- Sonnet 4 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Sonnet%20Technologies/USB3PRO4P10E/ (retail $139)
- Sonnet 4 x USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Sonnet%20Technologies/USB3C4PME/ (retail $139)
Apple lists this at $10,599. I do not have the keyboard or mouse.
I know I won't get close to this, especially with the Apple chips, but I hope that there's some happy medium between Apple's laughable trade in offer of $3,100 $1,200! (Especially given Apple still demanding $3K (lol) for 192GB, in itself).

Realistically the trade in offer isn't that far below what you'd probably see on ebay. You didn't list what video card configuration you have and that could throw things around too. I would estimate 3600-3800 but they tend to sit for sale for a while. For perspective I bought another Mac Pro this spring off ebay (28 core, 256gb ram, 4tb apple ssd, 8tb ssd array (2x4) with the 580x.) for $7400. The list on that one is still clost to $35k on apples site.
EDIT: Look at sold prices vs asking on ebay as well, there are wide variances. Ultragreenmachines is a reseller that tends to be pretty decent with rotating inventory and pricing.
Hah, I guess I should have taken that offer when I had the chance - just reviewed this morning, their revised offer is $1200. Oof.
I’ll give you $1,500 😏
No but really, you should be able to get at least $3-4k on eBay, just remember that eBay takes something like 12%, so if you sell it for $4k and ignore shipping/insurance costs you end up with $3.5k
Yep, this is the right answer, throw it on ebay.
