Another Day
Sunday night 9pm,
feels like every other day,
they're all the same.
Feels like every
other day --
they're all the same.
I feel the pain
and I am to blame.
Sunday night 9pm smoldering --
I fell again,
I can't help myself.
It takes a village
to raise a psychopath.
I am to blame
it's all the same pain again.
Won't break a sweat.
They say
when I''m broken
I feel whole --
It's all the same.

The poem feels breathless, in a way. I really like the repetition you used, because it points toward the poem's theme in a nice way. The double hyphen (--) is an interesting stylistic choice. What compelled you to use it?
I've got Emily Dickson brain, and do a lot of academic writing.
Ah, I can see the similarity
