Welcome to my mind!

we hope you enjoy the ride!

it can be wild!

it could get crazy!

but most of the time we will idle.

waiting in line.

nothing will happen.

but we wait.

and wait

and wait

and wait.

because my mind is empty and blank.

then we feel the climb,

and we hear the clack of the tracks,

and eventually,

we reach the peak!

and then we drop!

enjoy the ride!

oh how fun!

we put our hands up!

and feel the wind rush pass our faces!

we taste fresh bugs!

as we open our mouths to scream!

but oh,

no nevermind.

the ride’s slowing down again.

back to the back of the line.

I hope we won’t have to wait as long this time.

but inevitably, the line lasts longer than last time.

or so it seems.

but we keep waiting.

maybe we should give up on this ride.

but,

oh its so fun!

and I love the taste of the bugs!

I think I can still feel one in my teeth!

I miss being on the ride.

oh look we can see the front of the line!

the end is near!

we are so close!

I need to feel something.

I need to feel anything.

back climbing up the tracks again!

here we go!

please dont go away.

please dont let me drop.

please let this ride get stuck at the top.

I can handle a little sunburn.

I don’t need the taste of bugs in my mouth.

just please.

god please.

don’t make us wait in line again.

but then it drops.

and again I can feel,

the wind rushing!

through my hair!

behind my ears!

my eyes water from the wind!

with tears.

I know its going to end.

and we will have to go back.

to the back.
