Hellbent and a mana sink are an inspired combo. This card having three ability/keywords on it is too much though. I think you could afford to cut trample.
You’ve also noticed this card isn’t particularly black at all. I don’t know how I’d fix that; red and black have tons of overlap in combat.

The point of the card is that in very specific circumstances it gets to do some [[firebreathing]] with trample and first strike, but is otherwise a high cost french vanilla creature.
