Hey, probably trading in my mx 5 for a gti, have a question.

I spent a long time scrolling for a certain. Picture setting and had no luck.

Does any one have an image of thier golf next to a not overly lifted truck, or suv even floor height, with a non funky angle?

My wife wants me to drive a bigger safer vehicle but she knows I have only driven manual, so I am just wanting a height comparison visually. I have already looked up numeric measurements of basic bigger cars, but would like a visual.

Tldr dallas drivers are getting crazier by the day, want picture of golf next to bigger cars.

Golfs are very safe cars. They have the maximum 5 star Euro NCAP rating, with around 95% rating for adult occupant safety (it's actually hard to find a higher rating for that).

I've seen a lot of crashed golfs. They are stong and they hold up well but going up against a monster truck in a car is a knife in a gun fight situation

Edit: In a carpark right now. They are as big as any saloon or estate car. Only thing bigger is an suv/crossover

How big are you looking for, and what sort of non funky angle? I usually park next to larger cars at work, if nothing else I can get next to a RAV4 in about 24hrs.

Yeah rav 4 would be great! Just head on, to get as best visual height difference. Thank you so much.

If it helps your peace of mind at all, you can see here what happened when someone rear ended me on the highway. They smacked me HARD in a heavy truck and it just crunched the trunk. I was the only one in the car, but I just had a bit of soreness in my arms and shoulders from being accelerated so violently. Back seat area had zero damage and anyone there would have been fine. It handled the impact well enough and I liked the car well enough that I went out and bought another, slightly better one.
