Small dimples around center of both studio monitor's cones.. any ideas why this happened? Any concern?

Just a dust cap. Has no effect on audio.

could be poking, if it’s old enough it could just be drying up, no need to worry though

I'm probably going to to catch hell for suggesting this but if it bothers you, you can always glue new ones over the top of the old ones. This issue is purely cosmetic on a woofer though and won't affect the sound.

Unless you are Vulcan or elfish you shouldnt be able to hear any difference.
