Old Town Tequilla. They have a nice little selection. Chips Liquor is decent as well.

Total Wine has a surprisingly good selection. Way, way better selection than BevMo, at least up here in the Bay Area. Seems you have two or three Total Wines in the 'Dago area.

They also have a useful website. You can pre-order and they'll do curbside take-out. But I'd say: go in, you might be delighted with what you find.

Please report back. I’m curious if Total Wine is uniformly impressive or just in my region

Uptown Spirits in South Park. They also have a website.

I’ve probably been to every liquor store in San Diego and most have a terrible selection…

TOP TIER

Old Town Tequila: Good selection, very disorganized so you might have to do some digging. Tends to be a bit expensive from my experience

Hi-Time Wine: A bit of a drive, but the best prices and selection hands down. They do online orders and their website inventory is accurate/up-to-date. My favorite liquor store.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Del Mesa Liquor - Website is not accurate. They’ve occasionally had random uncommon bottles that I’ve wanted. Tend to be marked up a bit.

Mission Trails Wine & Spirits - The only place I’ve ever seen Hamilton St. Lucia sold in San Diego. Basically a warehouse though.

Mail order from Hi Time or KL. Local options are slim.
