Hippie/ Earthy / non-traditional girl "M" names

Baby Names

My husband and I definitely want to have an M name for our baby girl due in April, and we have a 2 syllable M last name. We like names like Maisie or Maddie but don't want to use them due to names of close friends, and they feel a little vanilla for our taste. We like Murphy (cue Interstellar!) but are not 100% sold. Any other ideas that are non-traditional, non-religious? Bonus points if positive or happy in meaning (our son's name is Luca and means 'bringer of light'). TIA!

I love the name Meadow!

Marlowe was my first thought! It feels earthy to me, with just the right amount of soft/sweet.

Magnolia would be an option for a literal earthy/nature name. It has great nickname potential too: Maggie, Noli/Nola, Lia.

This made me think of Maren. It’s one of my favorites! It means “of the sea”.

I was always jealous of the name Murphy after watching that movie. So it gets my vote.

Marlee could be a good one!! I googled and apparently it means marshy meadow:) honestly to me it’s so nice and hippie/earthy because I know the sweetest Marlee ever who gardens and is vegan and just like the epitome of hippy/earthy omg
