I’d say it gets worse with stress, but I do it regardless of how I’m doing. I’ll give that a shot but what’s it supposed to help with?

Open your mouth, stick out your tongue, and pull down slowly on your chin.

I have that and it’s definitely helped, but I still clench almost nonstop. It’s more a habitual thing that I need to break at this point.

I’m a habitual jaw clencher and it’s taking a huge toll on me. I have a bite splint that I wear every night, but that hasn’t prevented me from clenching my jaw while I sleep. I try to catch myself throughout the day but within seconds I find I’m already doing it again. To make matters worse, it’s making my tinnitus unbearable and it gives me frequent headaches. I recently learned my tinnitus may be a result of this so I’m on a mission to stop it.

Yep, I readied myself for getting only answers like this. It’s such a simple thing that’s such a struggle to get rid of.
